Mail order is the single biggest tool I used. Not just for medical supplies directly related to care giving, but for the home as well. Amazon: I shop online with a few companies, which I will link, but my absolute go-to is Amazon Prime. I don't want to turn this into an ad for Amazon, but we use Amazon not just for shopping but for video content as well. There came a time when mom was unable to read any longer and could only watch and listen, and Amazon gave her a large variety of programs to enjoy. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Parentgiving: This site is a store that carries a variety of incontinence items and many other care items as well. In my experience, the very best thing about this site, is that you can order samples of adult incontinence supplies. Until you have had to buy them, you don't understand how huge this is. Every brand fits differently and performs differently. But adult incontinence supplies are very pricey, and it can really hurt to pay over $20 for a package and then find out they don't fit well or perform well. Once we got our system figured out, I bought Unique Wellness brand for long days out, and CVS store brand for home use. Other items from Parentgiving site that we used were odor eliminator and cleanser. Note, join Parentgiving email list for a coupon for your first order, and in my experience, they will send you coupons for future purchases as well.
