I am a marriage commissioner appointed by the circuit court of Isle of Wight County, serving the entire Hampton Roads area. With a wealth of experience, I've had the honor of officiating weddings spanning from Yorktown to Virginia Beach, ranging from courthouse elopements to grand celebrations at magnificent venues. My specialty lies in personalization, getting to know my couples, and crafting a custom ceremony that beautifully reflects your unique love story.
Elopements
I believe that every wedding deserves to be celebrated. I'm often available to meet you same-day at Isle of Wight. Elopements can be at the courthouse or in a location that is meaningful to you.
My elopements include a choice of modern or traditional vows, ring vows, and if you give me lead time, wording to tell your story. My couples always get a copy of their ceremony and a commemorative marriage certificate.
Weddings
When you contact me the first thing that we'll do is chat a bit about my style and make sure that I'm the right fit for you. Next, you'll fill out an intake form, and then we'll set up for a longer interview. I want to get to know you, and you'll end up with many ideas for your ceremony. There are so many options available to make this part of your day really special. Do you want traditional vows? modern? custom? Rings or no? Handfasting? Family blending ceremony? Other cultural traditions?
